Inspired by, and founded through British Council’s Active Citizen programme, Create and Express (12069539) is a non-for-profit ethnic minorities led organisation using arts as a tool for mitigating and raising awareness about social and economic issues impacting on Hull’s and East Ridings ethnic minorities communities’ members.

Furthermore, using arts to help ethnic groups members in negotiating challenges of their dual identity in their effort to adapt to life in the UK. As part of our services, we run a recording studio at Hull city centre’s Prospect centre.
